Unit & Club Officers

The Shriners, or Shriners International, is a fraternal organization linked to Freasonry, known for its charitable work supporting Shriners and Shriners Children's hospitals.  It comprises of various units and clubs serving distinct roles.  Each Shrine Center has its own Units and Clubs that each member has a choice to join.

 

Units are groups within a Shrine temple that participate in parades and community events Common types include: - **Motor Corps:** Members ride motorcycles or mini-c. - **Clowns:** Entertain at events in colorful costumes. -Drum and Bugle Corps:** Perform music at public gatherings. **Horse Patrols:** Ride horses in parades. - **Flags and Honor Guards:** Display flags and provide ceremonial honors.

Clubs are informal groups focused on social activities and shared interests. Examples are: - **Fishing:** Organize fishing trips. - **Golf Clubs:** Host golfing events- **Travel Clubs:** Plan trips for members. **Purpose**

 

Both units and clubs promote camaraderie and support the organization's goals through fundraising, community service, and social gatherings, fostering brotherhood and charity with a great sense of camaraderie.
