Welcome Ladies to 2021.  I want to invite ALL ladies out to the stated meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.   Starting at 5:30pm dinner will be served and 7:30pm the ladies will have activities you do not want to miss.  There will be calendars available at each meeting to keep everyone informed of all the upcoming events including all themed events.

This year’s Ladies project is to off-set the costs of the outdoor furniture.  We are hoping to accomplish this by selling a pin set and bling shirts.

What did you miss?  

September Stated Meeting was a hit decorating wine bottles into lamps.  Check out the pictures in the Sands Magazine to see the talented designs by our Ladies. 

We have had so many ups and downs and trying to push forward to enjoy our events have been challenging.  Unfortunately, some more changes have been made due to COVID.  We had to cancel the Doug Cox Memorial Golf Tournament that I was so looking forward to participating in. 

 

What’s Next:

 

October 9th: The Chili and BBQ is just that…. If you want to compete let a Divan member know.  The Beer and Wine during the event was cancelled due to participation.  However, the Palm River Oasis bar will be open during this event.

 

Stated Meeting October 13th:  Decorate a Cigar Box into a Christmas Music box.  What song do you want me to sing……just kidding.   But you can take home a treasure that you made for Christmas.

 

October 16th Provost Guard Event Country and Western Theme.  Country Music artist JT Curtis & the Florida Scoundrels will be performing. 

 

** Feztival of Trees - Committee meeting now for this event, please get in touch with the Divan.

 

Stated Meeting for November:  Decorating the rooms for the Feztival of Trees.  Get into the Holiday Spirit and spread a little joy by decorating the room into a Fezland for the kids.   Kids will be decorating an ornament and writing a letter to Santa.

 

SAVE THE DATE: Saturday November 13th Breakfast with Santa.  

Reservations will be starting October 13th.  More will be discussed at the stated meeting.

 

December Stated Meeting:  Christmas White Elephant.  Everyone brings a wrapped gift $10 value.  Dress in your ugliest T-Shirt or Sweater for a gift.   More details to come….
